Divine Justice by David Baldacci

Divine Justice (Camel Club) - After assassinating two men who he felt responsible for his family’s murders, Oliver Stone leaves D.C., only to end up in Divine, Virginia. Here it seems he has jumped out of the proverbial pot and ended up in the fire along with his pursuer Joe Knox. Joe, working for Macklin Hayes who has a long lived grudge against Stone, has followed Oliver to this prosperous Appalachian town. The more he finds out about Stone, the more he wonders if he will get a fair trial when he is found. Unknown to both of them there is a drug cartel that doesn’t care who it kills headquartered in the town and they end up having to work together to save each other because in this coal mining town, who you can trust isn’t all that obvious.
