The Grand Finale by Janet Evanovich

The Grand Finale - Berry Knudsen is delivering a pizza when she sees a kitten in distress. Of course she climbs the tree to rescue it. This is when she first lays eyes on Jake Sawyer. Her second look was after she fell out of the tree.
