Seven for a Secret
- Frederica comes to live with her aunt when her mother is taken ill. At the Lane Cottage on St. Aubyn’s land, two sisters live. One is simple and cares for a doll as if it were alive. The lord of the manor, Crispin, takes special care of the sisters, but to others he is aloof.
