- In the late 1800s the Warrens and the Callahans of the Montana Territory have been feuding for 50 years. The current families have called a truce but there are still skirmishes. Both family patriarchs are looking forward to the wedding of Tiffany Warren and Hunter Callahan. They hope the marriage will end the feud. The problem is that Tiffany and Hunter have never met, and neither wants to go through with union. When Tiffany arrives in Nashart, Montana from New York, she is mistaken for the housekeeper her dad hired and the Callahans offer her twice the wage her father would have paid. Not wanting to meet her father and believing that she would learn more about Hunter if he doesn't know who she is.
