When Major Sharpe and Sargent Harper arrive, he meets a French officer that has come to rescue his wife and two other women who have been captured. Of course Pot-au-Feu keeps both the money and the women. Sharpe returns with a battalion, rescues the women, but ends up fighting the French as well.
