Backseat Saints by Joshilyn Jackson

Backseat Saints - Ro Grandee is a battered woman.  She has no intention of leaving her husband until a gypsy woman tells her that Ro has to choose, her life or her husband’s.  This sets Ro on the road to kill her husband, or get someone else to do it for her.  In doing so she learns the secrets of her life in Fruiton, Alabama.

This story is told in the 1^st person so we feel the emotions, and reasoning of the main character.  As wonderfully the story is told, this is not a light story.
