Resolution by Robert B. Parker

Resolution - Everett Hitch is hired by a saloon owner to sit lookout.  The town of Resolution is new and growing, Eamon O’Malley, the local copper mine owner, wants to own everything in the town.  He would force ranch owners into debt so that he could take over their properties.  The ranchers decided to ban against O’Malley.  Hitch and Virgil Cole get caught in the middle.
