- Since Cooper has made it very clear it wasn't going to be Heather's rebound love, she has begun dating her math teacher, Tad, who is totally hot. She is happy but it seems there is nothing in common between the two. Meanwhile, she is on her third boss, Dr. Owen Veatch, since her last boss was promoted and the previous one was a homicidal maniac. However, no one likes Veatch. Especially the graduate student worker's union who is currently protesting the elimination of benefits from their compensation. Veatch is supposed to be working to come to a compromise between the union and the school.When Veatch is found shot to death in his office, the student union's leader, Sebastian, becomes the prime suspect. However, his girlfriend and co-worker of Heather, Sarah, pleads with Heather to find the true killer. Heather's investigation leads to scandal on the campus and eventually to the true killer.
