- Cabot introduces Heather Wells former teen pop star. Heather is now the assistant residence hall director of Fischer Hall at New York College. Heather's mom had absconded with Heather's her manager and life savings to Argentina. Her ex-fiance, Jordan Cartwright, is now with Tania Price, the girl Heather found in him in bed with while they were engaged. Heather is now living in Cooper Cartwright's brownstone. He is on the outs with his family and generously offered his top floor in exchange for bookkeeping. Heather keeps hoping that Cooper will notice her romantically.A girl is found dead at the bottom of the building's elevator shaft. The death is ruled an accident, due to elevator surfing, but Heather doesn't believe it and begins to investigate. It is not until after another girl's death and attacks on Heather do the authorities begin to believe her.
