Wizard’s Daughter by Catherine Coulter
Wizard's Daughter
- Unable to remember who she was, she gave herself the name Rosalind de La Fontaine when she was found by the Sherbrookes as a ten year old. It is now 1835 and her 1st season in London, Nicholas Vail, the Earl of Mountjoy, has come from Macau to meet her because she is his debt. Nick, Rosalind and Grayson Sherbrooke find a book that only Rosalind can read. It tells about a wizard’s world. They need to solve the puzzle of the book to satisfy Nick’s debt. Because they believe he should not be the Earl, Nick’s step family is unhappy that he exists and tries to make his life unbearable.
