Lucas has to get past his “block” so he can fully use his ability and live his life is the main theme of the book. Couple times of fear and suspense, success and failure. A good story but this wasn’t a big page turner.

Huntng Fear by Kay Hooper
Hunting Fear
- Lucas Jordan can feel the fear and pain of kidnapping victims; but using this ability costs him physically so he only uses it when he is exhausted or angry. Until then he uses regular investigative techniques. Samantha Burke is a carnival gypsy. Of course they have a past, but they have to work together to catch the latest kidnapper in Clayton County, North Carolina. This monster not only demands the ransom, collects the ransom, then kills the victim; but the victim is killed in a very scary way.
Lucas has to get past his “block” so he can fully use his ability and live his life is the main theme of the book. Couple times of fear and suspense, success and failure. A good story but this wasn’t a big page turner.
