Rough Country by John Sandford

Rough Country (Virgil Flowers) - Virgil Flower’s vacation is interrupted for a murder case. A successful woman, Erica McDill is murdered while canoeing. Virgil needs to unwrap all the characters involved, most of them women. The owner of the lodge and her employees where McDill was staying, the members of the all girl band at the bar where clients of the lodge went for entertainment, the employees of the firm of which McDill was CEO and the family of the lead singer of the band are all under suspicion.
