A Christmas Promise: A Novel
- We meet a very young Gracie Phipps, before she was employed by the Monks. Gracie is hurrying home when she meets Minnie Maude, an 8 yo child who doesn’t live in the neighborhood. Minnie Maude is looking for Charlie, her Uncle Alf’s donkey. Alf had been murdered the day before. Gracie finds herself following the steps of Alf to help Minnie Maude find Charlie. But she finds out more than the donkey whereabouts. The story is very interesting and keeps you captivating.
