The local FBI agent hired Haven to track Jacoby and report his whereabouts. Jacoby shoots Luther Brinkman, Haven's operative, who is rescued by FBI Agent Callie Davis. Davis' boss, Noah Bishop, placed her undercover in a nearby cabin.
On the other side of the mountain, Bishop sent Hollis Templeton and Reese DeMarco to the Alexander House ostensibly to conduct a seance for Anna Alexander, who wants to contact her dead husband. However, once they arrive, they realize that the house and grounds are inhabited by many spirits. Furthermore, Anna's brother-in-law, Owen, refuses to accept the reality of paranormal activity and powers, believing instead that Anna's dead husband will never contact her and she is wasting money consulting psychics.
