Agatha Raisin and the Fairies of Fryfam by M.C. Beaton
Agatha Raisin and the Fairies of Fryfam (Agatha Raisin Mysteries, No. 10)
- Because a fortune teller told Agatha that she would meet her love in Norfolk, she rents a cottage in the village. She becomes intrigued when she sees mini lights sparkle outside her back door. Shortly afterwards an old vase is stolen from the cottage. This appears to happen a lot in the village, lights appear, then some small item from the nearest home. The mystery deepens when a valuable painting is stolen and then the owner is murdered.
