- Dana Cutler is hired by an attorney with connections to the White House to follow Charlotte Walsh. She does to a secret liaison with the president, Chris Farrington. The secret service sees her and now is following Dana. The next day Charlotte is found dead. Across the country in Oregon, Brad Miller, has been assigned to a pro bono case, Charles Little. Little insists he did not kill the teenager who happened to be involved with the governor at the time, Chris Farington.
