Compulsion by Jonathan Kellerman

Compulsion - A drunken young woman, stranded on a deserted road, is picked up by a woman in a luxury car and is never seen again. A retired school teacher is stabbed to death by an elderly man on her front lawn in broad daylight. Two women are killed after closing in a beauty salon in a small town. In New York City, a young couple, opposing the co-opting of their apartments is killed. Alex and Milo try to tie them all together when the only clue they have is the use of a luxury car.

This book failed to hold my attention as well as Kellerman’s other books.
