This book failed to hold my attention as well as Kellerman’s other books.

- I won’t recommend every story, but this is a good place to look for new authors.

Queen of Babble Gets Hitched by Meg Cabot
Queen of Babble Gets Hitched

Chaz tries to talk Lizzie out of accepting the ring, as does Lizzie’s friends and relatives. This is a delightful read.

Midnight Bayou by Nora Roberts
Midnight Bayou
- In the late 1890s Lucian Manet fell in love with and married Abigail Rouse, much to his mother’s distress. Lucian was the eldest son and Abigail was but a servant from the bayou. At midnight, while Abigail was feeding their daughter and Lucian was in New Orleans on business, Julian, Lucian’s twin, raped and murdered Abigail.
It is now 2002 and Declan Fitzgerald has bought Manet Hall and is determined to restore it to its former glory. While he is working on his new home, doors slam, babies cry, clocks chime, and watches stop at midnight. Also, he meets Angelina Simone, his best friend’s cousin, and the two are inexplicably drawn to each other. Apparently, they have some unfinished business from 1899 to settle.

Proof Positive by Phillip Margolin

Blood Noir by Laurell K. Hamilton
Blood Noir
- Anita Blake agrees to go to Jason’s home as his sweetie because his father is dying. Jason’s father and family believe he is a homosexual. Marmee Noir has somehow severed the mental link between Anita and Jean-Claude and has Anita calling all the unattached werelions to her.
I keep hoping that Hamilton will get past her need to have her female characters live in bed. Her earlier novels had character and plot development. Now it seems she is writing only for the adult industry.

The Key Trilogy by Nora Roberts
Although this is another story that isn’t complete unless all three books are read, the three stories do stand by themselves. But I would still read them in order and together. Malory Price, manager of the local gallery, Dana Steele, librarian, and Zoe McCourt, beautician agree to help Rowena and Pitt unlock the souls of the Daughters of Glass. They each have one lunar month to find their respective key, if the 1st one succeeds then the 2nd one will begin at the new moon. If the 2nd one succeeds the 3rd will begin at the next new moon. If any fail, then the quest stops there. They will receive $25,000 now, $1 million when they succeed. If they fail, they will lose one year of their life. They can help each other and they have Flynn, Dana’s Brother, Jordan Hawke, and Bradley Vane to assist as well.
Key of Light
- Malory is the first up. Her search seems to be in her passion for art and the paintings that involve the 3 Daughters of Glass. It also brings the six participants together as a group.
Key of Knowledge
- Dana is the second to search for her key. Her search draws her into books and Jordan back to the castle on the mountain top that he had wrote about and written Dana in as a character.
Key of Valor
- Zoe, single mother, seeing the opposition that Kane, the god who imprisoned the Daughters of Glass, had given the previous two in their search, takes extra precautions to safeguard her son and her heart. She follows the path of her life choices to what has brought her to the Valley.
