- Reverend Matthew Walters has come to town. On sabbatical, he is staying with Grandma Knudson and substituting for Rev. Bob while Bob and Claire go on their honeymoon. However, Grandma has her doubts about Matthew because he is very different from the boy she fostered while his parents were missionaries in Africa. When he fails to come home for lunch, and doesn't answer his phone, Grandma asks Hannah to go to the church to ensure he is all right. Hannah finds him dead, face down in a piece of her Devil's Food Cake. Of course Hannah and her team of family and friends investigate.Meanwhile, one of her beaux, Norman, is acting strangely again. Furthermore, she also finds out that both Norman and Mike ( her other beau) are also dating Dr. Bev, Norman's partner in the dentist office.
