Bones are Forever by Kathy Reichs

Bones Are Forever: A Novel (Temperance Brennan)- Amy Roberts goes to a Montreal emergency because of uncontrolled bleeding.  It is apparent that she has just given birth but denies ever having children.  Temperance Brennan finds the remains of four infants in the girls apartment.  As she, Andrew Ryan, and Ollie Hasty, follow her trail, they learn the girl is protected by a lot of women who believe Amy is not quite right. Her trail leads to Yellowknife in the Northwest Territories where the natives are even more protective.  However, in this diamond mining area, two rival drug rings appear to start killing their enemies and Amy's family seems to be the main target of both.
