Single & Single by John Le Carré

Single & Single - Oliver Hawthorne earns his living as a children’s magician.  Although divorced, he still cares for his wife and daughter.  A $5 million deposit appears in the daughter’s trust account. One Single & Single’s client in Turkey executes Alfred Winser, a lawyer for the firm.  Tiger Single believes everyone, even his son, is conspiring against him.
As a mystery, this story is very engaging.  However, I found the tone to be overly melancholic and I fell asleep several times while reading.
