The Scottish Prisoner by Diana Gabaldon

The Scottish Prisoner: A Novel (Lord John) - Lord John Grey is in receipt of documents that condemn Major Gerald Siverly. Among these documents is a poem written in Erse. Bringing the documents to his brother, Hal, the Duke of Pardloe, they decide to use Jamie Fraser to help bring the Major back from Ireland.

I am a Diana Gabaldon addict, I confess. This book was very good, and covered a period of time that the earlier books didn't delve into. The story stands on it's own and is well written.I prefer books about Jamie and Claire, but this included them too.So I did enjoy it.
