Port Mortuary by Patricia Cornwell

Port Mortuary (A Scarpetta Novel) - Scarpetta has been in training for the new procedures for autopsies. She will be implementing this procedure at the new port mortuary in Cambridge, Massachusetts. Before she gets there though, a young man dies of an apparent heart attack in a local park. However, there is evidence that he was put into the body bag and morgue refrigerator while he is still alive. Scarpetta is also dealing with memories of her early days in military service and the anger of survivors who want her to perform procedures on their dead loved ones.
