Bad Blood by John Sandford
Bad Blood: a Virgil Flowers novel
Bob Tripp kills Jacob Flood in the grain elevator that he operates. This murder starts a chain reaction of murders and is connected to the murder and gang rape of a teenage girl a year previous. Virgil Flowers is called in by local sheriff Lee Coakley. All the victims, except Tripp, belong to the same church. The members of the church are very secretive and only socialize within their faith. Many of the church members are into perverse sexual practices.
